The Central County Regional Occupational Program (CCROP) provides Career Technical Education programs that prepare students for entry into Orange County’s high-skill, high-wage careers.
Credit for the success of CCROP’s students rests on the expertise of its 135 industry-experienced instructors who represent over 80 careers areas. Since 1972, CCROP has served 472,147 high school and adult students. .
Our Mission
The mission of the Central County ROP is to encourage our Career Technical Education students to:
1. explore 21st Century careers
2. prepare for advanced education
3. acquire critical thinking and problem-solving skills
4. develop a strong work ethic
5. graduate with the skills required for high-demand occupations,
Exciting classes are available on all high school campuses and at three off-campus locations:
1. Lincoln Education Centers in Garden Grove
2. Ritchey Center in Santa Ana
3. Career Education Center in Orange.
The California Department of Education considers the Regional Occupational Programs to be the most cost effective delivery system for career preparation. CCROP is one of 74 Regional Occupational Programs statewide. More information about California's ROCPs is located at
